Warhammer Figs

Just picked up some really cheap Warhammer fantasy beast figures for my Post Apocolypse game. They look like human rams/goats so I think I will write up a race for them.

Shacks

I still need to add a large thin piece of the steel on the upper portion of this building, I was thinking it would be a market shack. I plan on using these for modern, Sci Fi, and Apocalypse gaming.

Here are the shacks I made step by step.

Start with cutting out a base. I used foam core and used masking tape to cover the edges to make them look nicer. Use super glue to glue down posts that will keep the shacks form.
Once you have gotten this far, you have to get some cardboard. I suggest a lot of it. Your going to separate one side of the cardboard from the other. Now if you are unlucky like me, they do not separate so easily. So you need to run a pair of scissors in the recesses, and clear most of the paper. Once you have it looking like corregated metal, you have the materials for your walls! Use whatever glue you prefer to glue the walls to the post. If you want, cut out some windows, doors, etc. Dont glue the roof on, as you will want to take it off during the game to move figures around inside.

First Post

Well I have been wargaming for 5 years now, and it sure has been a wonderful hobby that I will never lose. I decided it would be fun to try and maintain a blog with battle reports, terrain, figures, etc. I have to many wargame interests for my own good, so there should be an incredible amount of material on here after a while. So lets start with my 28mm shanty's that were made for incredibly cheap =)

Happy Gaming!
